Questions, answered plainly

What exactly do I receive when I buy a package?

Each package directs a team of AI agents to generate a set of operational documents for your company, including:

  • Operating documents
  • Brand assets
  • Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Financial templates
  • Launch checklists

You review, approve, and own everything produced. Access to the platform is delivered as instant platform access upon purchase, so you can start running workflows right away.

Do I need my own OpenAI or Anthropic account?

Yes. SpyderByte Foundry runs on your own AI provider account, such as OpenAI or Anthropic. During a guided setup step you connect it — either a metered API key or a sign-in with a supported provider subscription plan. Either way, the provider relationship stays yours: you pay your provider directly, and your provider's terms govern your plan. SpyderByte never resells compute and cannot see your provider bill.

Can I use my existing AI subscription instead of an API key?

Where your provider's plan supports it, yes. You sign in with your own subscription during setup instead of creating an API key. Runs then draw on your plan's usage allowances and reset windows, which your provider sets and enforces — dollar-based spend caps do not apply to plans that are not metered in dollars. Your provider's terms govern how your plan may be used, so confirm your plan allows connecting the tools you use. SpyderByte never sees your provider password.

How much does AI usage cost per run?

Provider usage cost varies by workflow and model choice — typically $10–$15 for a complete end-to-end workflow run, and more with premium models, heavier usage, or multiple revisions and re-runs. Package prices and the subscription do not include this usage — you pay your provider directly. On a supported subscription plan, runs draw on your plan's usage allowances instead of per-run billing. Per-run and daily spend caps are on by default and adjustable — they limit the work the platform will start on your behalf. They are not a control on your provider account, and your provider's billing stays between you and your provider.

Can a workflow run stop partway through?

It can. Your AI provider enforces its own rate limits, usage allowances, and reset windows (hourly, five-hour, weekly, and similar). If your provider limits or resets your access mid-run, the workflow pauses or stops until your access is restored — that is between you and your provider and outside SpyderByte's control. You can start the run again once access is restored; additional runs use additional provider usage.

Can I cancel the subscription?

Yes. Cancellation is self-serve, handled entirely online in your account settings, and as easy as signing up. There is no call required and no retention process.

What happens to my files if I cancel?

Everything you generate is yours to export and keep forever, even after you cancel. The subscription covers hosting, updates, new workflow versions, and support — cancelling ends that ongoing platform access (new runs, updates), not your ownership of files you've already exported.

What is your refund policy?

You can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided workflows have not yet been run and assets have not been generated. Once generation has occurred, the package is considered delivered. See the refunds page for full details.

Is this a business-opportunity program?

No. SpyderByte Foundry is software. It generates documents, assets, and workflows. What you build with them is up to you. We make no promises about business results.

How many people can use one account?

Each account is a single-user license with one login. It is not intended for multiple people to share a single login.

How are my API keys stored?

Your API key is encrypted at rest, never logged, and never included in exports. You can remove it from your account at any time. If you connect by subscription sign-in instead, authentication happens through your provider's own sign-in flow — SpyderByte never sees your provider password, and the access credential your provider issues is stored the same way. Customer accounts are kept isolated from one another. Read more on the security page.
